analog tuners behaving differently in wintv and sage

anyone have any ideas why analog video would look better in wintv than sage? i'm seeing color dropouts and fine diagonal stripes on my sage video, but no issues (and better overall picture) when I tune the same channels in wintv.

tuners are hauppauge, pvr150 and the other is a pci-e qam/analog, I don't remember the number right now, but will look later.

thanks

2nd card is actually a 1600, (pci, not pci-e) tuner.

I'm feeding everything straight cable signal, although I am considering adding an HD PVR and feeding it with an HD cable box.

I'm still seeing this, anyone have any ideas on why a tuner would work in wintv but not sage?

I get this same behavior. WinTV tunes analog channels perfectly. SageTV tunes poorly - in my case, it's unwatchable. I have two HVR 1600s. Anyone else fine a solution to this problem? I made some posts about this a while back and no one had a solution.

Here are my previous posts on the topic:

Some help here would be great!

Thanks!

John
