Exclamation Tuners not working with v7

Digital Everywhere FireDTV-S2 (Firewire) is not recognised as a satellite receiver. Channel scan makes SageTV to crash. Bug report submitted.

I can setup my hd-homerun channels and the scan works and finds the right channels but when then I try and tune them I get no signal. Anyone had luck with the hd-homerun yet? Anything I should know?

I'm using the HDHR tuners with SageTV7 as I type this. Should work.

Mine's working too. Didn't have to rescan or anything after the upgrade from v6.

I figured out this one. The channels were tuning very slowly and the "no signal" would show up before I would get a picture. I was then being impatient and changing channels which would start the new channel tune and the "no signal" would show up again. When I'm patient the channels will tune.

I am having same problems with my tuners, both the HDHR and the HD-PVR. In tuner set-up they preview channels but when I try to tune from the guide I get " no signal"

My HDHR tuner is working, but my HD-PVR is getting the same "no signal" message then a playback error. Sage has crashed on me several times testing this and I have to restart the PC. The sage process stops responding and I can't kill it. This was working prior to the update.

I'm running sagetv in service mode with extenders. Other tuners are working fine.

HVR 2250 working just fine here. I did rescan just because I did a fresh install.

Now I can get one of the tuners in the HDHR to work. but not the other. I also have a USB ATI 650 that works, no luck with the HD-PVR yet. It looks like I will have to go back to verison 6 for a while.

Unhappy

I'm having the "No Signal" issue with HDHR after the upgrade, but my HD-PVR is working fine.

After completely re-doing the HDHR setup without success, I filed a bug report and sent in debug information last week.

Unfortunately I haven't heard anything back on a solution yet.

I have my HDHR connected to V7 with no issues. This is on a brand new server running Windows 7 64-bit.

Initially, I did have the "No Signal" issue described above, but I was able to resolve it by opening up UDP ports 5002 and 5004 in the firewall. Not sure if that's you're issue, but worth a shot anyway...

I had no signal issues with my 2250 over QAM but it was due to Sage scan setting the stations on the wrong channel. For example, Sage scan put WVUEDT at 54.0.5 but it was really at 54.0.1. I was able to overcome this by picking one station and manually remapping it to each possible unencrypted channel, i.e. 54.0.1, 54.0.2, 54.0.3, 55.0.1, etc. I remapped all QAM channels once I figured out where they were.

I tried using HD Homerun’s channel listing: http://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/channels_us but I found some channels were different. The odd thing is that a WinTV scan and HDHomeRun would show a channel at one location but sage could only tune to it at another. Very odd.

As part of the bug report troubleshooting I created and uploaded some raw dump files from a couple of the problem channels. Interestingly the dump files are valid video data from the HDHR.

In addition to the "No Signal" error on channel playback, I'm also getting system messages for failed recordings from channels on the HDHR.

Everything was working great before the upgrade but I really don't want to revert to V6.

Hey there....I'm trying to get two 2250s working and can't seem to find any QAM channels, even though Media Center sees them fine. Do you remember exactly how you set up the tuners in v7? I appreciate your help....
