wiz.bin - how to add 2 shows info
Accidentally deleted 2 shows from Recordings.
Caught it several days later. Was able to recover the files (just happened to have a copy of them on external drive) Tried advanced_video_file_recovery=true but that didn't work. Any other suggestions on how to get them back into Recordings? SageTV up to date. Standard STV. |

I think though you can go thru the Nielm's Webserver and play some magic that way (I think), but I have never cared that much to try it.

Airing info for recorded shows is supposed to stay in the database indefinitely; you could try scrolling back through the Program Guide to verify that. If the airings are there, and the filenames still have the embedded airing ID numbers, they should link up automatically.
Just to cover the obvious: did you shut down Sage and stop the service before restoring the files and editing the properties file?

I have had success in using BMT to change a file that is in imports to appear as a Sage Recording. I'm still using version 3.X, haven't upgraded ver 4 yet.

maybe thats why. I'll look into WebServer/BMT maybe. Yes, I can find it via Media Center...but for WAF, trying to get it back into Recordings |

when the sage service shuts down it writes all the properties to the property file... so editing the file while sage is active doesn't actually do anything....
