Sage Crash followed by TV/Library mess-up

Sort of an annoying little thing happened this morning. I started to play a DVD from a folder on my hard drive and Sage locked up.

I rebooted and when Sage loaded the after reboot, the 10 or so shows previously in my Recorded TV folder were gone from that screen. Instead, they had been imported into my Video library along with the folders that are supposed to be there.

I rebooted the system again and Sage, which starts up automatically with Windows 7, got stuck on "Initializing Library Object Database" for abut an hour. So I rebooted again, and Sage started up but the Recorded TV shows were still getting mixed up with the imported media and not where they were supposed to be.

I checked the imported media folders, and the Recorded TV folder was listed among them.

Using Sage v6.6.2.218
Java Version 1.6.0_18
SageMC STV 6.3.9a
SageMC Jar 6.3.8

Anyone seen something like happen before, or know how to reimport recorded TV into the right place?

UPDATE:

Today I had the chance to try out a few fixes.

Oddly not only had all my Recorded TV been moved from the "Recorded TV" screen to "My Videos" but also one of the videos deep in a sub-sub folder of one of my imported media drives was showing up in the root My Videos screen. Only one out of hundreds. Strange.

I fixed that by removing my Imported Media directories, re-scanning, and the re-adding them and re-scanning.

I was about to try out the advanced_video_file_recovery trick, but when I went to shut down the Sage Service, it was already stopped. I manually re-started it (even though it is set to restart automatically) and all my recorded TV was back where it was supposed to be.
