Mapping Local DVD Drives?
Currently I have my DVD drives mapped to the letters "A" and "B"..... SageTV cannot see those drives at all untill I change them to "C" or higher. Is there some way to allow this?

A and B are widely assumed (not just by Sage) to be floppy drives. You're probably asking for trouble by using those letters for anything else. My advice would be to go with the flow and assign drive letters above C to your optical drives.

Thanks for your feedback... I am aware of the A + B Drives past use and having is block off for floppy use only... I have not used floppy drives for several years now. I have been using the "A + B" Drives on my 64 bit system For DVD's & Burning for 3+ years now, and have not had any issues with any program yet. I take that back Media Monkey I had to change and XML file, and then it work like a charm. I guess, the question would be is there a file I can edit to allow the "A-B" Drives to be used? |
