avi slow motion problem

Hi Guys,

I need some help, I have one .avi movie that plays in slow motion only, it's in the same directory as my other .avi movies and all others play perfectly.

This same .avi that plays in slow motion in STV plays perfect in WMP. I haven't run into this problem before, any ideas on resolving this problem ?

I had a similar problem recently. When I muxed some avi's together, they were extremely choppy/unplayable on the HD200s. They played fine on all of the PCs running the sage client.

I ended up remuxing the problematic avi's with VirtualDub (which I originally used to mux them in the first place), but used the "Save old format AVI..." option instead of "Save as AVI...".

I know that the AVI container is all but dead, but I did try different containers (MKV, MP4) and no matter what I did, the video was almost always choppy. I did eventually have some luck with AVIDemux, but the a/v sync issues I ran into were a deal breaker.

So, maybe try to remux it with your favorite remuxing program and see if that helps at all.
