SageTV Freezes when changing channel.

Hi everyone. Some help please.

I have two WinTV 150's running in my DVR. If I'm watching TV only, everything is fine. However. If I am recording a show and watching another, Sage freezes when I change the channel. Sometimes I get the spinning Sage symbol and sometime not. Sometimes it's there but not spinning. The only way to recover is to shut down/restart Sage. I can typically still see the show, but frozen.

Note that if I minimize Sage at this point, Windows is still up and running with no apparent problems. There is also basically 0 CPU usage when frozen (?).

I have tried changing the IRQ for each tuner, changing them to different PCI slots, newest 150 drivers, using an older WinTV 250. Argh!!

Can I get some ideas of other things to try? That would be great.

SageTV 5
WinXP SP3
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Mobo
2GB DDr2
E8400 CPU
EVGA GeForce GT220 Video Card. Using the HDMI (to 46" LCD TV) and VGA ouput (to 15" LCD, for doing Windows work).

Help.

Maybe a conflict between the two identical tuner cards and their drivers. Perhaps you might want to try one tuner card that is different from the other or try a dual tuner card instead.

Thanks for the idea Mike. I had tried a WinTV 250 as well, but no luck. That's the only other one I have. However. Last night Sage froze in the same way while simply watching a show that I had recorded. Sigh. I'll keep working on it.

I appreciate the input.
