Phantom recordings after hard drive failure

Greetings,
I'm just responding to this old thread because a recent hard disk failure has resulted in a few hundred orphaned recordings.

I understand folder view would only show the recordings that are actually on disk, but I would like to purge the metadata info from the wiz.bin file since I'll never get those recordings back (as opposed to "hiding" the info by switching to another view).

Here are the details:
I have 3 recording drives - D:, E: and G:
My G: drive failed and I lost all TV shows recorded to that disk.
My "TV Recordings" view still shows all the shows that were originally recorded to the G: drive (they are now orphaned, trying to play them obviously gives a "not found" error).

Thanks!

The reason they are still showing is because sage cannot see that they are gone, just that the G drive is gone. You basically have to let sage see an empty G: drive (with whatever path was set up for the recording folder), and it will see that the files are indeed gone, and remove them from the list.
