Question nVidia DualTV Takes Over A Minute To Tune A Channel.

I know it's 2010 and the DualTV card has been obsolete for some time now but I have it so I might as well use it.

The problem is that it takes a little over 1 minute to tune in the channel. In the past I've used the S-Video input but now I'm attempting to use the coax input and internal tuner. After a minute the puture appears and all is well. Both tuners have the same problem. Don't know it it's related to the hardware itself, hardware confilcts, or software.

My current configuration is...
  • HD-PVR
  • HVR-2250
  • DualTV
  • Win 7 32 bit
  • Cyberlink drivers in use
  • EVR
  • Latest DualTV driver from nVidia (2007)
My cable company still provides QAM and analog...which is nice.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Sounds like the card is toast.

Toast is a bad thing
I also have a single tuner nVidia card lying around. Perhaps I'll try that one after I give up on the Dual.

My DualTV died as well. Except the PC wouldn't recognize it at all.
