SageTV Client - CPU Usage

My home office PC is 780G / 4850e based with 2GB DDR2 running Vista. I used to watch live TV occasionally (news) with Placeshifter when I was capturing SD. I now capture exclusively with HD-PVR's.

I bought a SageTV Client lic. and thought I would experiment viewing H.264 recordings on my home office PC. Tried various video decoders (Arcsoft, Cyberlink, DivX), they all work, CPU usage is 50-60% or so.

When I play the H.264 files outside of SageTV Client, in Arcsoft Total Media Theatre, CPU usage is less than 10%. Also, I can play blu-ray flawlessly with either Total Media Theatre or Cyberlink PowerDVD and, very low CPU usage.

Is there something (setting) I am missing with SageTV Client or is higher CPU usage typical with how SageTV Client works with these H.264 decoders?
