webserver "play in extender" doesn't work

I have to admit i've installed the latest version i think (don't know how to check)

when i browse through the epg and click on a program, i'd like to use the function to play that tv show on a specific extender....

when i click on it i get

Unknown Airing/MediaFile ID passed
type:MediaFileId id:956537 --java.lang.Exception: airing Id not found

any ideas... i have seached the forum i promise !

Can you tell me what the Airing Id and Media File Id at the bottom of the Details page are? I have a feeling the web server is getting them swapped at some point. If your log has anything please post that as well.

I haven't been able to reproduce this yet. The web server version number is at the bottom of each web page. Can you check that and tell me what version you're running?

Which EPG page are you coming from - List, Grid, or Channel?

The MediaFileId and AiringId should be shown toward the bottom of the Detailed Information page. In fact, it might help if I could see the page source. To save it, right-click and choose "View Source" (text varies depending on which browser you're using). Then save that to a text file. Be sure to remove any references to your server name, then post the file here.

Also turn on SageTV's debug logging and post the debug log here. It will show more information about that "java.lang.Exception" that's being displayed in your browser.

You won't hear much from me for a few days. I'm leaving town in the morning for the weekend so I won't be able to look into it until next week.

I was looking at the change history and saw a fix I made a while ago that might fix your problem.

Fix link on detail page to play show in extender that is currently airing but not recording

Try the latest 2.26 snapshot build and see if that fixes your problem.
