Unhappy Data Execution Prevention on windows explorer?

Why would I get a DEP error when I browse to my sage recordings via windows explorer via a networked drive, from another client on my network?

When I access the files remotely (via a network drive) through RecordNow, a DOS prompt, or other programs, it works fine, but accessing the network drive via windows explorer results in a DEP and then explorer closes.

Is there some kind of "live" content associated with my recordings that XP is blocking or something? Can it be disabled or ignored?

I guess I could work around it using a DOS prompt, but I would like to solve it if I can, I'm just accustomed to working with the GUI of explorer.

My Setup: HD-200, headless server running Sage 6 on XP SP2, HDHR for digital OTA, and PVR-150 for analog.

Windoze Exploder might be making thumbnails, and you have a codec that doesn't like to make them (I think tat's what causes the crash). I had this problem with CoreAVC 2.0. I just turned thumbnails off.

Try Windows commander (or any other replacement browser) free, and if it doesn't crash, that's your problem.

You know, I think that the default view is set to thumbnail, so I'll try setting it to details, or icons, or something else.
