Sage can preview HD channels in setup, but not tune to them normally

We recently upgraded to the DirecTV H23-600 tuner and set up the new dish in order to get on the HD bandwagon.

Everything works fine on the receiving end, and we use a Hauppauge HD PVR to do the capture work.

HD channels are visible in my Video Source > Channel configuration, and I can successfully preview the HD channels in the Channel configuration area.

What doesn't work is tuning to those same HD channels via the program guide. I can get to my older SD channels, and even some of the new SD channels (yay for local programming coming back into my life). But when I select an HD channel, I see the IR blaster flash (as it should) and Sage takes the same amount of time it usually does, but then it ends up at the same channel I was on before attempting the change.

Is there something special about the HD channels I need to activate in Sage so it can tune to them? I though of running an s-video cable straight to the TV to watch the channel change attempt to see what the directv box was seeing from the IR, but that's about all I got...

For anyone else with my malady - I had been adding the 2 digit version of the HD channels, instead of the replacement versions further along in the listings - HBO HD on channel 70, instead of the matched replacement for #501 HBO with #501 HBOHD. I can tune to the 3 digit version just fine.

So problems solved - though I can tune to SD 2 digit channels just fine, I'm not losing any more sleep over it.

Hope anyone else with the same problem has as simple of a solution.
