Run SageTV Service as User Instead of LocalSystem

What are the advantages/disadvantages of both?

I have a reason to want to use an account besides LocalSystem (Scripting VideoRedo to run through Sage).

LocalSystem, as the name implies, cannot access network resources, only local system resources. If you want to import media stored on network shares, you must used UNC paths, and you must log the service in as a user with network access privileges. Even if everything is stored on the server's own hard disks, you still might want to use UNC paths so that SageTV Client can access them directly.

On the flip side, I'm hard pressed to think of any advantage to logging in as LocalSystem. There's no disadvantage to doing it that way provided everything is stored on that server and you have no PC clients running SageTV Client. But as soon as you start to grow your system beyond those limits, you're going to want to change it to a real user. So in my opinion you might as well set it up with a real user login from the getgo.
