How to get the default STV interface?

One of my ongoing issue with STV is administration and I am a developer!! ANyway, I need to get back to the default STV interface and NOT the MC interface. I go into :"My Menu" then "Settings", SageTV Setp", "Detailed Setup" and then "Advanced".

Current STV version is 2009120901

Next to the "Reload" button is "Reload last custom STV" SageMC_169.xml"

SageTV Application Package shows "SageTV3.xml"

Which I thoguht was the default but I can load "SageMC_169.xml" or "SageTV3_withimports_SAGETV_PROCESS_LOCAL_UI.xml" or "SageTV3.xml" and there is no difference/change in the interface?


Managing these interface and MC issues is a MAJOR pain and its non-intuitive. I sure hope future versions are simplified.

Under "My Menu" > "Settings", there should be an option to "Load STV". From there, you should see an option to load the default STV.

I guess the problem is that the changes do not always apply right away and SageTV needs to be restarted to show the change back to the default STV..

This is the correct method to change STV's from SageMC

The STV will change immediately. The problem is that when you enter SageTV Setup from the SageMC Settings menu, it is actually switching to the default STV with a few settings passed through to allow you to easily switch back to SageMC by hitting the Home or Back buttons. (The same thing is done for the Online Services menu) If you try to change STV's while in this state, it doesn't behave nicely and I'm not sure what the outcome would be.
