faster thumbnails/"filename".jpg?

I have a large number of videos now and find that scrolling through My Videos has gotten slower. There is always a momentary delay (1-2 seconds per page) between scrolling down and the display of the thumbnails. How can these thumbnails (also the filename.jpg files generated by the IMDB lookup) be sped up or cached?

Einstein was right about relativity; you think 1-2 secs is slow and for me that would be light speed!

What do you consider to be a large library of videos?

I complained about slow navigation a while back(I was experiencing 15-25secs and sometimes longer delays) and was instructed to reduce the size of the folder jpg for DVDs for example. I have found that it is best to keep only essential stuff in the folder containing a particular DVD video file. After making these changes it is pretty common for it to take 1-7secs per page. I used to have much higher resolution cover art as well as fanart, backgrounds and so on. Now I just have the DVD cover at around 350x500 and properties file.

I have 350 DVDs all in separate folders that displays the DVD cover and has the properties file for a movie description. Additionally, I have another 300+ videos in various folders across my network that do not have separate folders and only a thumbnail is displayed.
