Reason to update ?

I'm using STV version 6.3.10.166 and it's working fantastic, is there any reason to upgrade to the latest version ?

Also, I think I asked this 2 or 3 years ago but, has anyone done a customization for adding sound effects upon remote button presses like TiVo has ? I love STV and it's unlimited features and the customizations you guys have made available but I still miss that sound feedback.

The Beta announcements thread has the links to the release notes that detail what's changed.

One change that may be relevant is that the HD200 extender requires a Placeshifter license on servers older than 6.5 (including yours); 6.5 and later do not require a separate license for the HD200.

SageMC has UI sound effects, but they work only on the server and on PC clients running SageTV Client. They do not work properly on Placeshifter or extender clients, since the UI logic for those clients executes on the server, so that's where the sounds happen. (Personally I find the Tivo sound effects annoying.)
