SageTV Recordings not show on their Directory after SageTV reinstall

I reinstalled SageTV and followed the sticky "How to move SageTV to a new computer and retain all recordings" since my recordings. videos, movies, and pictures are on a secord drive (F within the server. I set the following property in the Sage.properties file: advanced_video_file_recovery=true and fire up sageTV. If I go to SageTV recordings, the screen shows me what I am currently watching but none of my recorded programs. If I select media center, then videos, it shows me all my video files including my tv recordings! I was not working like that before I re-installed SageTV! Anything I missed? I copied the previous wiz.bin and sage.properties to their original folder within the Satv file structure and make the changes ion the sage.properties file as mentioned above. What can I do to fix this issue? I am running SageTV version 6.6.2.218, Java version 1.6.0_17, Windows XP Pro, and the default SageTV3 default STV File. Thanks.

The sticky specifically says, in bold letters, "Do NOT copy sage.properties from the old computer." It says this because the properties file contains explicit paths to various files (including Wiz.bin) in the old installation. If the new location is not the same, it won't be able to find your old Wiz.bin and will start fresh with a new one.

So if you want to keep using your old properties file, you'll have to go through it and manually correct any file paths that don't match your new setup. Or you could delete the properties file, let Sage create a new one, and reconfigure all your settings through the UI (as the sticky recommends).

I deleted the sage.properties file. re-started sage. Same problem. Should I delete the sage.properties and wiz.bin?

You may need to re-copy your old Wiz.bin from the previous installation. Make sure Sage is completely stopped (including the service) before you do this.

I am using my previous wiz.bin. I was using SageMC but decided to use the default screen this time. Does this account for the isuues I am experiencing? By the way, with the SageMC STV, I was experiencing lockups in my extender every two to three days. since I re-install using the standard SageTV STV, The system has run solid with no lock ups! casuality? Don't know.
