New install of SageTV + Same Wiz.bin = Ghost recordings still show up

Hi all,

I just reinstalled SageTV on a new machine. I copied the old Wiz.bin file over so all my favorites and watched shows would stay around.

Now, I can see all the recordings I had at the time I copied my Wiz.bin file in the new installation of SageTV. Is there an easy way to get rid of these ghost recordings? They no longer exist on the hard drive...

Thanks,
Matthew

Those ghost recordings are still there because Sage doesn't realize that the recordings are no longer there.

Most likely those recordings are indicated as being on another drive that Sage can't currently see. It is waiting to see if that HD is coming back on line.

Set up a Temp drive with the same drive letter as the original server's drive letter. Once Sage can see the original drive letter and see that the recordings are no longer there, it should remove the ghost recordings.

Sounds similar to the last Q in this FAQ: My hard drive crashed, but SageTV still lists the recordings that were on that drive. How can I tell SageTV that the recordings that used to be on that drive no longer exist?

You don't even have to recreate the path, BTW.
