Screen Saver - photos from specific folder?

I'm trying to determine how to get SageTV to pull screen saver photos from a specific folder (not the entire library).

My first question is how do I perform a search on a phrase? When I search the forum for "screen saver" (including the quotes), I get results for all posts with the words screen or saver.

I thought I read once that there was a customized STVI that supported a specific screen saver photos folder, but I can't find it.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There is no such feature currently even though it is one of the most requested features when it comes to Photo functionality of SageTV.

I've done this, but it may not be exactly what you're looking for:

setup a new import folder for photos, directed at the specific subfolder you want for the slideshow. Toggle off the photo import folder for your "whole library" photo import folder.

this allows for a slideshow of only "approved" photos to be seen for a holiday party, for example.

When you're done with the party, just toggle the "whole lib" back on, and the specific folder off.

Again, this is more for a specific event, but it may help.

Matt91, thanks for the tip. Maybe I didn't understand, but when I turn off imports for the full library by turning off the "Yes" in the "Pictures" column, the row (path) disappears from the list. So I would have to re-create it with "Add a new directory" when I later wanted to view the full library. Am I missing the "toggle off" function? "Toggle" sounds a lot more convenient than re-creating, due to the number of clicks required for navigating to the proper drive and folder when adding.

Here's a related suggestion for the developers - don't start the Add Import folder at the Sage program folder. That is probably the least likely place someone would have media to import. Either remember the folder last used for import, or start off at the root level of the drives (C:, D:, E: etc).
