MX-880 MRF350 BD-P2500

I have the above remote with rf ir router and samsung bluray player. I created the device and programmed in the device via the database. I can control the BD-P2500 utilizing ir but I need to control it with the RF function. I set the remote to transmit to the BD-P2500 via rf. I changed it from "all" to port 2. Right now I just need to turn on the bluray player via rf. When I push the power button, I see the IR blaster flash but nothing happens. If I point the remote at the bluray player and I have it set to IR, it turns it on and off just fine.

Now that I have told you my story, can anyone help me out with some ideas on how to get the mx-880 controlling the bd-p2500 via rf.

Thanks
Bill

I control a hd200 with the rf part of the system, I confirmed where the ir receiver was via the owners manual. I have adjusted the strength of the ir light which did not seem to make a difference.
