I am confused do you just need a IR reader? Why would you not use your 880?

I want to use the 880, but I can't figure out what device to choose for the Harmony software.

You don't need software to use it. What are you trying to do?

When he sets up the Harmony you choose from the Harmony database what devices you are controlling and what remote you want to base your controlling codes are. Just choose any MCE Remote for the codes. Technically you can point the Hauppague remote at the Harmony to begin learning and it should come back and recognize what remote you are using. Choosing any MCE Remote (not necessarily the Hauppague remote) will work for you.

The HD200 is on the list, I didn't realize it's the same remote as an HTPC SageTV. I'll try it thanks.
