Connect both S-video and Component?

I have an HD-100 that I use with a projector in my rec room - I also have a nice old 27" Trinitron that I would like to use occasionally when I don't feel like using my projector.

Could I hook up component to my projector and s-video to my Trinitron, then switch to use one or the other via the video out button on my remote?

Or would I have to go to the home screen and change video out? Would at least the home screen appear on both outputs?

Thanks in advance for any tips.

In case you were interested in the answer...

It does work.

In my case I have a projector connected to my HD-100 via component-to-DB15 and a Sony 27" Trinitron connected via s-video. Sound is sent to a separate amp / speakers.

I can start up the Sony, turn on my HD-100, and view all my content on the Sony including HD recordings which are automatically down-rezd by the HD-100.

If I start up my projector, then turn on my HD-100, content will be viewable there.

You can't use both at the same time, however.

I wasn't too sure about how well this would work but was pleasantly surprised.
