Refresh Imported Media

Not sure what happened, but recently my imported media stopped refreshing.
I changed a few file names on my PC and never saw the changes in my imported media on any clients. I went to setup and did the Refresh Imported Media.

I've stopped and restarted the Sage Service. I've rebooted the Sage Server.
I've renamed the primary import media folders (two different drives). I've changed the drive letters and redid the import media folders (that got me further than anything else, but still not there yet).

It refreshes some media but never seems to finish.
No errors in any logs.

The way my drives are setup:

Drive 1) \videos\1) HD
Drive 2) \videos\2) DVDs
Drive 2) \videos\3) SD
Drive 2) \videos\4) HD (Kids)
Drive 2 \videos\5) SD (Kids)
Drive 2 \videos\6) TV
Drive 2 \videos\7) YouTube

Right now, none of my videos from drive 1 are showing up and Drive 2 has maybe a 3rd of folder 6 done.

(prior to changing the drive letters, only videos from drive 1 were showing up and nothing from drive 2)

Any ideas?

Resolved.

This morning I turned on sage and media still didn't import.
Then I noticed one of my two HD tuners (usb dvico gold 5) wasn't getting a signal. It was fine in device manager, so I figured I'd reboot to fix that issue.

Well, rebooted, but the sage service would not start. Service said "starting".
My first thought was Java, but I didn't remember upgrading java. (It was using 6.10). I upgraded to 6.17 and no change.

What I did next:

1) Copied the existing c:\program files\sagetv directory.
2) uninstalled sagetv
3) reinstalled sagetv including java 6.10
4) started sagetv service. Tested connections.
5) setup import directory. All media imported fine.
6) made backup copy of new pristine c:\program files\sagetv directory
7) stopped sagetv service
8) copied old sagetv directory into location of new install.
9) attempted to start sagetv service. Hung at "starting"
10) deleted the sagetv directory and put the new pristine sagetv directory back in place.
11) started sagetv service.

I'm going to attempt to copy most of the directories from the old sagetv back in place, one by one, to find out which file, files or directories is causing the program to choke. My original install isn't that old, so my wiz.bin isn't that big. I doubt that's corrupt.

I don't have a clue what caused this to break initially, but I do now remember why it's important to make frequent backups of known good configs.

I've been loading my movies to sage for over a week - perfectly ...

until today, now (like you) sage will not refresh import media. I can see the folders there, evetything looks fine, but refresh it will not, so I cannot see the last 6 or 7 in My Videos.

Any ideas?
