Refresh imported media - more control?

Refresh imported media - more control?

My "problem" is that I have over 150gb of music. Ripping a a dvd to the HD and then "refreshing" so I can watch via STVmc takes an eternity while STV scans my music directory before adding the new dvd. Is there a way to refresh a specific directory? thx-rob
edit: fixed it- just replaced the properties and now the refresh is speedy
