Windows client will not play HD (H264) content
My Windows client (6.6.2) will not play HD (H264) content and gives an error. The same content plays ok on HD100 extender. In the setup I only have "default" listed under H264 and wonder if I am missing a codec? Any suggestions?

You are missing a codec. Install a h.264 codec. Like PowerDVD, TME or ffdshow.

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any suggestions as to where to download a codec and how to install it so SageTV can use it?

Either buy PowerDVD or TME. If you're recording in h.264 format you probably have a HD-PVR. If you do that came with the TME application. Just install that on your PC. Google ffdshow and download the latest. It includes a h.264 decoder. Check to use that and then just choose default in Sage.

Thanks very much for that. I installed FFDShow and selected it in SageTV H264 setting.... and magically it now works!
