Which USB Tuner will net me the best results?
I recently purchased a small "book" style PC (ASUS Essentio CS5111)
Opening up this little fella isn't an option so I'm looking for a USB solution that will work with Sage. Specs on the PC are: Pentium dual-core E2200(2.20GHz) 4GB DDR2 640GB Intel GMA X3500 Windows Vista 64 Bit I basically just want to use this as a tuner box, maybe record TV every once in a while (it's a bedroom media box atm) Thank in advance |

Where abouts are you?
as in country/part of country, and what type of reception do you get, as in satellite/over-the-air/cable etc. There are a lot of USB tuners but what you get will depend on what signal you can pick up. |

HDHomerun is a network tuner and will get you OTA and digital ClearQam. HD-PVR is a USB tuner that will connect to your STB via component and SPDIF or analog sound and will record anything you can tune on your STB.

I have 3 Hauppauge 950Qs and they work well. I use them for OTA but they can also do QAM.
