Which USB Tuner will net me the best results?

I recently purchased a small "book" style PC (ASUS Essentio CS5111)

Opening up this little fella isn't an option so I'm looking for a USB solution that will work with Sage.

Specs on the PC are:

Pentium dual-core E2200(2.20GHz)
4GB DDR2
640GB
Intel GMA X3500
Windows Vista 64 Bit

I basically just want to use this as a tuner box, maybe record TV every once in a while (it's a bedroom media box atm)

Thank in advance

Where abouts are you?

as in country/part of country, and what type of reception do you get, as in satellite/over-the-air/cable etc.

There are a lot of USB tuners but what you get will depend on what signal you can pick up.

HDHomerun is a network tuner and will get you OTA and digital ClearQam. HD-PVR is a USB tuner that will connect to your STB via component and SPDIF or analog sound and will record anything you can tune on your STB.

You could use the HAVA as a single tuner option... It is fairly simple and still gives you the option of using a network encoder withut the hassles of something sticking out of your netbook.

I have 3 Hauppauge 950Qs and they work well. I use them for OTA but they can also do QAM.
