Picture Size - MVP vs. Placeshifter

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find anything.

I recently set up SageTV with 2 HVR 1600's for SD only. I have 1 Media MVP on my older TV set connected with the RCA cables (no S-Video on the TV).

When I watch CNBC on my Linux Placeshifter, I see the whole picture. Right next to the CNBC logo in the bottom right, I see more picture to the right of that logo.

When I watch CNBC on my Media MVP, the right side of the screen stops at the CNBC logo.

Any suggestions on where to look? I set up the MVP and looks fine (aspect ratio, overscan, etc).

Thanks for any guidance.

Normal TVs have overscan, sometimes lots of it.

Thanks, but I did set up the overscan (the "arrows" screen) so that the arrows were just at the edge of what I can see.

Should I try to change that?

That only affects the UI, not the video.
