sage screen size change when in standby?

I updated to 6.2.2.218, java 1.60_15, running under XP32-bit. Now every so often when the system is in screen standby (the sageTV logo is bouncing around the screen), the actual sage screen dimensions shrink by about 20% in both the X and Y, where the actual display area gets smaller than where it should be at full screen. The rest of the screen is black.

Hitting the upper-right icon to go out of fullscreen, then hitting the fullscreen icon (top-right of sage app) goes back to fullscreen makes the problem go away.

Anyone else notice this? Anyway to debug what's going on?

Nvidia cards? Update your drivers. Older ones had a bug that had the driver adjust the resolution after sleep or restarts and that tends to throws sagetv off. The latest one and one from September fixed it for me.

I have something similar sometimes when I return from standby. I have found that I just need to make sure I have the TV on before I wake up the PC and it will be fine. If I wake the PC first then I get a situation similar to what you describe. In my case it is a HDMI connection and I think unless the TV is active it wakes without a defined resolution and uses some sort of default.

No idea if this is similar to your setup\Problem.
