favorites recorded in pieces with gaps

had anyone seen this:

shows recorded as favorites on a specific channel with 2 minutes padding before and after get recorded in 3 separate files, one about 20 minutes long, the next one a couple of seconds, and the third, another 5 or 10 minutes, but with large gaps in the middle?

this is a new one for me.

i haven't used favorites before so maybe I'm missing some setting somewhere that takes care of this but it sure is weird.

I get that if I restart Sage if a Favorite is being recorded.

Does this happen for all your recordings, or just some? I only get that with one show that I no longer watch/record anyway.

Does your log mention: "SEEKER HAS DETECTED A HALT IN THE ENCODER...TRYING TO RESET IT" ?
