ATSC OTA Brightness Settings?

What is the recommended brightness setting under mmc encoder properties for ATSC OTA recordings? Mine are defaulted to -1 but I also see others for 0. is that due to the encoder's ability to also grab NTSC?

Any info is appareciated. Thanks.

There is no setting, ATSC is the raw digital bitstream captured to disk. There is no processing done, nothing to adjust.

That's what I always thought, but wanted to double-check.

Thanks for your time.
