I have two HD PVR's. How can I get one to always record first? I tried changing the encoder merit of one of them to 1 but it keeps resetting back to zero. Seems to be when I close the SageTV interface, but I'm not sure. I got the Hauppage blasters to work within Sage (the only thing that has worked so far) but if I set 2 things to record it's a tossup as to which tuner will record it and since only one blaster will work i don't know which box to attach it to all the time. I've resorted to recording manually from 7-9 on 2 different channels and just manually changed the channels on each STB. Not my ideal solution, but I can't get anything else to work...

Recently, someone else was successful in getting another Motorola box to work. Maybe their IR file for the DC50X will work for you? If not, it may be a good place to start.

See the FAQ: How do I edit the properties file? The settings don't change when I change them.

Must have been that the sage service was running. Sorry about that. I've closed and opened and started and stopped and each time it stays at 1. Thanks!
