IR blaster and Channel 3 Help
Well, I have been scanning all through these forums the last few days and have found people with similar issues but no real solution.
I have IR blaster working well within the software, however it does not work with the remote. The remote changes the channel within sage and that in turn changes the channel on the tv but not on the digital cable box, where I would like it to work. I see a setting within Sage after selecting video sources call RF Channel, which is N/A and I am unable to change it. Am I looking in the right spot? Any thoughts? Oh, before I forget Hauppauge 150, Sage V4.0, motorola box from comcast. Thanks, Jake |

How is the cable box conneced to the tuner card?
And, on the Source Details screen, what is the "Input Type"? If you are using a coax cable from the converter, then you would have to specify that you are using an external receiver to tune the channels (see p. 146 in the SageTV manual). If you didn't do that before, you may have to remove the source & reconfigure. - Andy

Cable box is connected to tuner via coax. I will check out p. 146 and add and remove the source if necessary. I will keep you posted. Thanks!
