Hauppauge HVR-1800 And QAM - No Go
Anyone have any tips on getting the HVR-1800 working with clear QAM. It is installed with the latest drivers, and I know the cable signal being supplied is clean, but the channel scan does not find any channels.
Also, here is a dumb question - which input should I feed with the cable? I am pretty sure it should be the DTV input, but I have also tried the cable input just to be sure. No channels either way. PS - I don't want to install the WinTV app because I have read elsewhere here that app might cause problems with Sage.

Hauppauge HVR-1800 And QAM - No Go
I've got my HVT-1800 working with both cable and QAM together. I've got a single cable and use a splitter to connect the cable to both the Cable input and Digital input.
Had everything working for 2 days and now when I change to some channels....nothing but black...still working on that one
