Server crash, wiz.bin questions

So my server crashed, went belly up. I was able to save off the whold sagetv directory (including the Wiz.bin). I THINK the version it was running was 6.4.5.179 (I say that because I see backups of the sage.properties files say that version).

My question is, Can I install ver 6.6 and just plop the wiz.bin in there or do I need to install ver 6.4.5 and then upgrade to ver 6.6?

Any other files I should be aware of, that I might need?

You should be fine. I think those versions are close enough that there wasn't a major difference in the db. Now you could find that version (6.4) and install it, configure it and then copy your entire Sage directory. (but leave out the .properties file.) And this process is mostly so you don't have to redo allol your plugins, webserver, etc.

The other method would be to install the latest, configure your tuners and epg and test. Make sure everything is working. You could then stop everything and drop in your old wiz.bin or install all plugins, webserver, etc and then drop in your old wiz.bin. Either way make sure that you give SageTV enough time to process your 6.4 wiz.bin. I'm not sure if any update or conversion needs to be done but depending on the size of the wiz.bin it could be longer than the usual startup. SO don't panic if it sits at the startup screen a little longer.
