Installing Comskip on multiple computers

I installed comskip on my SageTV server and 2 Sage clients. I used comskipmonitor on the server and set the TV shows directory to be monitored. The TVshows directory is on the server. One of my Sage clients is on a computer that is my media file server including a directory housing TV shows from my ReplayTVs. I installed Comskip on this client and use comskipmonitor set for the directory housing the Replay shows.

The server has comskip markings on the SageTV shows stored on it AND the Replay shows on the other machine.

The Sage client has markings for the local directory with the Replay shows but not the Sage recordings on the server.

How can I get the client to see all comskip files? I thought if the edl, etc files were created Comskip would work but apparently this is not true.

Comskip is fussy about folder permissions. I can't remember the specifics offhand but I think a common mistake is using mapped drives. I have my directories set to unc paths and have usernames and passwords mirrored on all boxes and it is fine.

I have monitor running on both machines on their respective directories. I figured all that was needed was for the Sage plugin to see the edl files. The files are there.

Should csmonitor be run from only 1 machine?
Maybe the server path to the recordings should be

\\server_name\d\tv shows

instead of d:\TV Shows ????

Yes, the path needs to be identical. The client accessed the comskip files directly, and the only path it knows is the one the server sees the recording at.
