have you successfully used more than one hauppauge device in a single HTPC with a single STB and one IR blaster?

My Sage Server (running WHS) has four tuners - 2x Hauppauge HD-PVRs connected to SA3250HD cable boxes using firewire for channel tuning, a Hauppauge PVR-150 connected to a SA3200 (SD) cable box using a USB-UIRT for tuning and a Kworld OTA HD card that doesn't need any IR/firewire for tuning. So I have multiple Hauppauge devices using multiple cable boxes but I don't use any Hauppauge IR or drivers for channel tuning.

Does that answer your question?

I also have 1 STB and 2 tuners (HD-PVR & HVR-1600(svideo)) that I'd like to get configured. What I'd like to do is have everything record on both because I'm getting sick of the HD-PVR issues especially 50 minutes into an hour program. If it also recorded on the 1600 then at least I'd have a backup.

Is there a way to set this up automatically? I assume the straight forward way would be to set up separate guides for both sources and program everything twice, but I'd prefer if I could just use 1 guide and pick once.

I currently using two USB-UIRT zones to control two cable boxes. The cable boxes are separated by about five feet. The IR devices are inside small sturdy cardboard boxes which used to house compact fluorescent bulbs. One side of each cardboard box is open to each cable box, restricting the IR light to only go in front of each cable box.

Do you ever get problems with channels changing automatically when unwanted?
