windows 7, hvr 1600 and no signal for ATSC
I have been happily using Sage for several years now but I am not a power user who understands all the filters and decoders and such
![]() I recently updated my old PC to Windows 7 x64 and I switched from cable (clear QAM) to OTA using an HVR-1600 card. I do the channel scan and Sage detects the right OTA channels. But when I ask to preview any of the channels, I get "no signal" and no preview. When I view a channel from the guide, I get no signal for all channels except PBS. That one channel (actually 3 subchannels) works fine but all the other channels do not work. The OTA channels do work fine though on my TV itself using the same antenna (actually with a splitter). I am baffled... Any suggestions on what I could try next? I have had OTA working fine in the past but not with Windows7 64-bit and this HVR card. |
