Comskip and Media files

I have the Comskip plugin set up and running and working quite well. Is the Sage Media player the same progam used when showing recordings?

I want to add the directory which stores all of my ReplayTV mpgs to the media center. I'll add this directory to comskip monitor. When accessed in media center will the comskip markings display/work?

I'm almost certain Sage doesn't care what the source of the files is when using the comskip plugin. As long as it can see the skip list for a file it just works.

OK, I changed the server path for the TV shows to the full path including the server name.

What's weird is is that the client with the media files now shows the cs markings on the TV shows on the Sage server but only for the files that were recorded after I made the change.

You would think as long as it knows the directory it should see the associated edl files for ALL shows. It's only a couple of shows but I hate something that gets "fixed" without knowing exactly why.

Actually the path to the file is in the wiz.bin database so it won't get updated for old recordings. This is completely normal.
