Adding both sources = Duplicate Channels ?

I have a dual tuner Hauppage Nova card and on setting up the media centre do i add both tuners and do a channel scan on them both? reason i ask, i did this and now the tv guide is showing every channel twice, is this correct? seems a bit strange as WinTv7 just listed channels once and still allowed recording 2 channels at once.

When adding digital tuners, you must do a channel scan for each tuner. If SageTV is unable to determine which station each channel should get mapped to, you'll need to remap channels to the correct stations.

I tried again and was given the option to use existing channels, works ok now. thanks
