Comskip & Dirmon2

Hi,

I'm using SageMC with Comskip and Dirmon2, but I just can't seem to get it to work. I loaded comskip into my Program Files/SageTV/SageTV/STVs/SageTV3.

Can anyone give me direction on what I did wrong? AND, how I can correct?

Thanks!

PJ

That guide is excellent and i also did this a few days ago. Comskip monitor is much easier to use than Dir2Mon. Make sure you installed the STVI correctly. You don't give enough information on what doesn't work. Can you see the menu item for comskip in the Sage Customize menu? are your files getting processed via comskip?

yep, I don't know what got into me. I set up Dirmon2 because he said it was more configurable. I see that I was missing triggers. It appears to be working now, but since I'm new to this, I don't know what working efficiently means.
