Problem with Remote - New Install
Hello,
I am trying SageTV on windows XP OS to see how it works. For the most part, I am good with installation except remote configuration. For remote, I would like to use my HD HomeRun network IR if possible with LogiTech Harmony remote. Based on my search in forum and what I read, it sounds SageTV does not support HD HomeRun IR for remote. I also have a Hauppauge PVR-150 card installed with latest drivers just for IR receiver only. For Tuner, I am going to use HD HomeRun only. I have checked the option to configure PVR-150 remote during installed and selected 45 button Remote but nothing seems to work except my channel button which move mouse control up and down on the screen. Can you please point me in a direction how should I make my Hauppauge PVR-150 remote work with PVR-150 receiver or with HD HomeRun IR receiver? Thanks, VK

How do I use the Hauppauge remote to control SageTV? When I press a button, nothing happens. The Hauppauge IR software needs to have been installed before installing SageTV, or else you can manually update irremote.ini if the *IR software was installed after installing SageTV. - Andy

Location of irremote.ini
The PVR-150 software is installed already.
I saw this note earlier and tried to copy irremote.ini file into the C:\Program Files\SageTV\Common folder but nothing seems to happen. Can you please confirm the location of this file? Also is it possible to use HD HomeRun IR in SageTV? Thanks, VK
