Running 2 USB ATI600 tuners stops SageTV server

SageTV was running fine with 1 ATI600 USB and 2 HDPVRs.

When I added another ATI600 USB first with same drivers I was already
using for 1st card. Then later upgraded to latest drivers from ATI website.
In both cases The SageTV services stops unexpectedly when both tuners are
connected to the machine, but not if any one tuner is.

With any one of them the server works fine and the client can display liveTV
and record.
With both of them connected the server doesn't start.

Similar results when not starting the server but just running SageTV client directly.

Both ATI 600 USBs can display images using ATI Catalyst center when both are connected simultaneously.
I don't know how and why but after multiple tries the setup did work for a
few hours nd I was able to run both ATIs one called ATI600 USB and other one ATI600 USB #2, both on same Houston digital channel line up. But the service stopped overnight and now cannot work with both ATi
tuners in at the same time.

Somehow SageTV doesn't appear to be able to differentiate between the 2 ATI 600 USBs.

I have put in a support request with Sage and their first reply was to test with the clietn only (which I did and it doesn't work). I have sent them log files but haven't heard from them in 5 days since, so any help the forums can give me would be much appreciated.

Well no luck on replies!
I gave up and replaced one of the ATIs with a Hauppauge WinTV 980 and so far so good.
