Avermedia Purity 500 MCE

Help! I've bought the Avermedia Purity 500 MCE off of Ebay, but can only get one tuner recognized by the SageTV applicaion. Is there something I need to do, or do I just have a bad card?

Thank you!

PJ

You have to add both sources. If you only have one source that you can add then you have a problem. You should go into the device manager and see if it shows 2 tuners.

I've tried. It fails on the second one saying that there was a problem and I need to restart SageTV.

Does the Device Manager show any type of problem for either of the tuners?

No. Went through the Device manager and I didn't see any errors. I just wanted to see if anyone had a simple fix to a common problem since this is a pretty old board (I have updated drivers).

Thanks!

Did you check that the second tuner isn't listed in the ignored tuners in your Sage properties file? I know when I first installed mine, for some reason both ended up in the ignore tuners property.
