Does anyone use this motherboard? Happy?

Found this in Fry's the other day for a good price. Reviews at newegg are good:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128341

It's a Gigabyte GA-MA78GPM-DS2H AM2+/AM2 AMD 780G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

I'd like the new 785 micro boards, but that may be a wait until September for the version with Sideport Video memory, and I'm a little itchy to get a new system up and running.

so if anyone has this, please comment.

Have you checked out the AVS forum yet? The HTPC section has some high traffic on hardware.

This thread is specific to your question http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...a+ma78gpm+ds2h

I visit there all the time - thanks, I'll have a wander. Are there plenty of Sage users over there?

Just FYI, the 785 boards have just been released and by that I mean yesterday (or was it Monday?). You won't find many end users with them yet and most of the reviews done with the 785G boards won't be people who have used them long term (meaning we have no idea how they hold up day in and day out). With that being said, I won't be buying any more 780G boards anymore now that these are out (even if they can't do multi-channel LPCM).

I'm a dork - I noted the wrong board above. The one I was looking for info on was the previous 780 version with side memory. Fry's was clearing them out for $45, but I think they are now sold out.
But if I find one, I may have to get in at that price.

OK, I've corrected the posting - the link was correct but not the text. Now they match.

Opinions on users of THAT board?
