Composite Recordings Not Found - Where Are They?

I recorded some TV programs using my digital tuner box connected through the composite inputs. But where are they? Could not find them anywhere, checked Sagetv Recordings, not in that directory. Possibly the files have a different file extension?

They should be in the recording folder along with the other recordings.

Do you have EPG for the composite source? if so they should be named like normal recordings. They will be mpg files.

If you tuned into the composite tuner, watched what was coming in but didn't hit the record button - then they will have been deleted in the normal way sage deletes live TV shows when it performs its clean-up.

As doc mentioned above, Live TV recordings could have been deleted; there is an option to keep those recordings - see the SageTV PDF manual. If they were Manual Recordings of Favorites that are no longer there, then perhaps there was a recording problem that causes corrupted recordings & the files were not kept.
