BTV & SageTV - I'm making the switch but want to finish up watching old BTV stuff

What's my best bet if I am switching from BTV to Sage but want to finish up last season's BTV stuff?

Should I just leave a copy of BTV on the Sage server, run it with a spare tuner not used by Sage, and just watch and delete the BTV-type shows?

Or, is there a quick and dirty batch converter? We're talking quite a few shows here, and as I understand it Sage stores its program info and formats differently.

And suggestions or sticky references would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Its not perfect but it works well enough.

You do not need to uninstall BeyondTV. I disabled the service for BeyondTV and let Sage do all the recording. That way you can still go back to it for any reason.

Yep. As said above, I wouldn't delete BTV or anything like that (for a while at least). Just don't try to run both at the same time on the same PC.

I made the switch a few months back because of the lack of extender support for BTV - I think now that I'm getting more used to keystrokes + remote control usage, I like sage better anyway.

Glad you made the switch too - welcome!
