Sonicview receiver + toggle bit + USB-UIRT

Hello,

I have a SonicView 360 which seems to use the toggle bit to identify unique key presses. I.e.

first press of 1

first1 0000 0073 0000 000C 0020 0021 0020 0021 0040 0041 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0040 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0CCA

second press of 1

second1 0000 0073 0000 000C 0020 0021 0040 0021 0020 0041 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0040 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0021 0020 0CCB

As you can see, the codes alternate. The third press is the same as the 1st press.

I can handle this at a command line level using uutx (USB-UIRT) by alternating the codes. How can I handle this with Sage, can sage call a batch file for tuning?

Currently on channels that have two digits the same next to each other the receiver will only identify the first one, i.e. 200 shows as 20

quick fix would be to increase the inter-digit delay. The toggle bit devices will recognize the same code in a row after a certain delay of not getting anything.

Unfortunately the delay is about 5 seconds...and this is long enough that the channel change has already occured.

Any better way?

I believe you CAN change channels through command line (which would allow some batchfile usage).. do a search for exetuner
