Explain This Graph

Can anyone explain this weird graph? Why is it using the AVI Decompressor and Color Space Converter filters before hitting the Video Renderer? I don't ever remember it doing this before.

This is a clean install of Vista x64 SP2. Any ideas why?

That's ok, after posting this graph I decided to reinstall my PowerDVD 8 Ultra with all the updates, which disables its H.264 decoder for BD playback and TME for H.264 decoding.

Weird thing about the TME that comes with the HD PVR is that when you do updates the codecs don't actually get updated. It certainly installs a copy of the new codecs but does not install them to the location of the registered Arcsoft codecs (C:\Program Files\Common Files...). It puts them in C:\Program Files\Arcsoft... I simply copied the newer codecs into the Common Files folder and I now have updated Arcsoft codecs. Kind of odd how it does that.
