If I disable monitoring, will myMovies still produce the movie-name.properties file? Otherwise it won't be of much use to me. The whole reason I moved from DVD Profiler to myMovies was to get the properties and folder.jpg files created for the movies in my library.

Yes, they will be created each time you press "Save" on a title, or add a title.

Got the 21 day trial up and running last night. Is there any way to reauthor to remove previews/commercials?

This is for the My Movies developer. I will duplicate post in the My Movies for WHS forum.

SageTV has unique, powerful and growing (extender) capabilities, like BD folder playback including directly from a BD drive in the server. The default UI is improving all the time and no doubt has a great future.

My Movies is great at managing a DVD/BD collection and obtaining metadata. I like for example how easy it is to cut and paste folder cover art – I like all my BDs to have the BD cover like Blu-ray.com – looks nice in SageTV Media Center Videos along with the SageTV HD icon.

My Movies WHS takes full control of AnyDVD, automatically keeps AnyDVD up to date (nice feature) and can auto-rip (full copy only) DVD and BDs. Recommendations:
1. When Disc Copy Service is Stopped, release AnyDVD so it can still scan and decrypt a disc in the drive – why? SageTV uniquely can stream a disc to it’s extenders and this is desirable when you just want to play and not rip a disc.
2. My Movies does not use AnyDVD’s ripper. Somehow, use AnyDVD’s ripper, allowing for ‘Remove annoying adverts and trailers’ if AnyDVD is set that way.

Also, some Bugs:
1. SageTV – in the .properties file created my My Movies, Starring= and Director= are the same information. This shows up in SageTV Video Detail as Director: showing the same information as Starring:
2. On WHS reboot, Movie Monitoring Operating Mode: defaults to ‘Strict’ even though ‘Loose’ my have been selected prior.
3. My Movies Monitor on WHS Console seems to have been designed to click on the heading (Folder, Title and Disc etc.) to sort – this does not appear to be working.
